The villa itself is was very comfortable. There was great wifi in the room and throughout the grounds, which was great because when we arrived on Friday afternoon we had some work to finish so we were super glad to have the strong connection to finish our work with ease.
Inside the room all the furniture and fixtures were elegantly placed and beautiful, you could tell that each this room (probably all the rooms) were meticulously put together to ensure your comfort and happiness.
I really enjoyed the masculine and feminine touches within the room, the strong wooden furniture, mixed with the soft brown romantic lighting, it was great. My favorite part was the bed, so cozy and soft, the blankets were delicious! This time of the year it’s quite chilly in Chiang Mai, and at the resort as well, but inside our room we were nice and toasty.
During the day we simply hung out, enjoyed the mountain views, the great organic food, the saltwater pool (yes, we jumped in even though it was cold, we jumped in with our clothes too just cuz we wanted to get a fun couple shot). If you are an animal lover you’ll also appreciate the friendly cats and dogs that roam the grounds, so cute!
On this particular weekend there was a yoga workshop that we attended that was based on dance and movement, I can’t remember the exact name of it but it was fun and different. There was also a sauna party taking place that we both enjoyed alot.
You get to pick your own scrub based on your skin type. First you enter the igloo looking sauna, let the herbal- eucalyptus steam warm your body and open your pores, then you exit cover your body with your scrub, enter sauna again to allow the scrub to seep into your skin and make it succulent. Then exit rinse and repeat!
For a person like me, who is always working online and needs to truly be pulled out of the city life to reconnect with myself, my partner and the earth around me, this place is heaven. I truly loved my stay, and recommend it for others looking to get away and enjoy some great peace and quiet.
